Fees & Insurance
We offer a complimentary consultation to discuss reasons for seeking therapy, logistics, insurance, payment, and any other questions you may have. Call us and we would be happy to discuss it with you.
Good Faith Estimate
Beginning January 1, 2022, under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in an insurance plan, federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their insurance plan, and choose to self-pay for therapy services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.
A GFE means that the estimated cost of services is discussed with the client, documented, and provided in writing to the client. The intention of this document is to eliminate any surprises as to the cost of therapy treatment. If this applies to you, Positively Psyched will discuss this in greater detail during our first session.

Out-of-Network Benefits
For all other insurances plans where Positively Psyched is out of network, a Superbill can be provided to the client. This is an invoice of payments the client has made to the practice for therapy services received. This bill can then be submitted to the insurance provider. The amount goes toward the client's out of network benefits and reimbursement may be possible. In this case Positively Psyched does not submit claims to the insurance provider, the client pays the practice directly, and the client becomes responsible for submitting the Superbill to insurance. Every plan is different, so it is highly recommended to contact your insurance provider directly.
